Preparing for a laser hair removal session:

Please shave the treatment area 24 hours (1 day) before your laser hair removal appointment and avoid using wax or sugaring, as they remove the hair from the roots and laser technology targets the pigment in the hair follicles.

Avoid sun exposure and tanning products on the skin for at least one month before the session, as laser treatment cannot be performed on sun-exposed or tanned skin.

Ensure that the skin is not dry or cracked before the session.

Do not apply any creams, perfumes, or deodorants on the day of the session.

Avoid any type of exfoliation or deep skin cleansing treatments, including Moroccan baths, before or after the session for ten days.

For women, the session should not be scheduled during menstruation.

After a laser hair removal session, it is important to avoid direct sunlight and use an appropriate sunscreen:

Apply a cold compress on the skin to soothe it and reduce redness.

After laser hair removal, you may experience sensitivity or mild swelling in the treated area, which is normal and usually subsides within a few hours after the session. Some people may also notice temporary redness in the area, which may last for several hours or a few days.

Any sensitivity or swelling can be relieved by applying cold compresses to the area and avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, using sunscreen to protect the treated skin.

In addition, avoid using any products on the treated area for 24-48 hours after the session, and follow the recommended scheduling for subsequent laser sessions as advised by your physician and based on the condition of your hair.

It is important to note that the hair that is treated will not fall out immediately after the session, but will gradually shed in the following weeks. Avoid using a razor or waxing between laser sessions to avoid interfering with the effects of the laser and delaying the desired results.
